Tyler is growing perty fast and dont know if there is any sizable ranches left but i am sure being that it is in east texas there is some work on cattle ranches there for sure.. There is diffenetly good hog hunting around the area.. If u move up this way let me know we can make a hunt.. Grin

TXBOARDOG,

Depending on where you are coming from you may or may not like working in the Tyler area. Lots of areas with thick woods and vines. If you are more used to working open country, it might not be your cup of tea.

There are still plenty of small/ medium ranches that will need help working/penning cattle.

In Tyler there isnt so much of that but the surrounding areas there is alot. Over in the smaller towns like Henderson, Kilgore,Price, Mt Enterprise there is alot of ranch work. All these are within 30 or so minutes away. I have been all over the country and east Texas is the place for me. In Tyler you have anything you need with  country living. Like Circle C said though it depends on what your looking for. I live in Chapel Hill which is a community of sorts outside Tyler and it suits us just fine. Want to know any specifics just pm and I'll be happy to help.
