I have never seen anybody haul dogs in trailers to go hunting here in CA. I often thought about it but wasn't sure cause I have Hauled my kids in my 5Th wheel and they bounce quite a bit.
How fast do you travel with the dogs and what type of condition are they in when they get there. I would sure like to load 2 atvs and all the dogs in a trailer and go hunt. Does the trailers you use have shocks or springs to help with the bouncing?

We haul ours in the front of a stock trailer w/ atv loaded in the back a lot. Most of my hunting spots are within a 45 minute drive from my house though.

I would like to be able to haul 2 quads, and dogs on the same trailer, so I am thinking it would need to be a flatbed of some sort drive on and unload from the side. I don't not need a place for live hogs due to the fact we are not allowed to keep them live here.

i beleive they travel as well their as anywhere else. sometimes when going a good ways [2 or 3 hrs] i put em in the horse trailer. im not an expert , but thats my .02

Mike we use Stock trailers because thats what we have but shocks springs and as fast as you want to drive its not to bad they get use to it. The main thing I think is be sure you check your dogs for fighting a many time I have heard of people say there dogs don't fight and get to your hunting location and all your dogs are busted up.Most dogs are excitied and ready to go and like kids one wants to look out and one wants to lay down one is circling stepping on the other one then the fight is on. So been able to hear is a big thing to me but I still chain my dogs so I don't have to worry about it. Good Luck Des
