I called Rodney to come out and make a round this evening, and a couple of other buddies. Ended up seeing some hogs out in a pasture, a few sows and a nice boar. I cut the boar out with my 4 wheeler and put hollywood, boss, and my 5 mo old pup luke on his track. June and Rodney's Jesse dog had a shoat caught in a creek. Got it taken care of...Hollywood and Boss were bayed at 1.26 miles by the main road. Got to them, turned Jesse and my catch dog Bubba to them. Got to him just as he was putting a hurting on the dogs. He shook the two curs and Bubba but I got him by the tail before he broke. Hollywoods head was totally covered in blood, Bubba was on the ground going into shock, Jesse wasnt hurt. Long story short, Hollywoods ok, Bubba didnt make it. But, I knew it was coming, he was a good catch dog and one of the few I actually liked, so I knew he wouldnt make it too long. The hog was in the 245-250 range, thats after running hundreds through the scales, not an uneducated guess  I've just about quit posting caught hogs on here, but thought Id share this one.   |

Boss is a pup out of June and Hollywood. Dman is still crippled but is still great, just a little slower.

Got a couple of videos of bubby. He was very well mannered bulldog. Wish I knew how to post them.
Sure hated to get that text this morning. We'll get some revenge this weekend.

Micheal sure hate here about Bubba at least he went out doing what he loved to do better than what he was going to get from the guy I got him from I'd kept him myself if he'd just got along with Hank.
KO sure wish you could get them vidios on i'd like to see them.
We still need to hook up and go one these days wish I'd been there all my buddys where busy this week.

Yes, Bubba was a good one. Fast little bulldog too. Pretty bad place to bay a boar. Dogs didn't have much room to get out of the way. I still don't know how my Jesse dog didn't end up getting cut also. He was walking around friday morning like he had been hit my a freight train, but all is well now.
