Well we finally took the time to head to the farm in Linden and do some clearing this weekend.  We new we were in for a long day on Saturday but I am happy to say that we were able to accomplish everything we needed to do.  We used a ASV RC100 with a Tushhogg hydroax head and man that is an impressive piece of equipment, eats EVERYTHING in its path.  All of these roads were just made, the area cleared was as thick as the woods next to the road.  Got two feeders up and going with two game cams and hope to add one more feeder and camera and plant some food plots in September.
My Honey Hole-
Straight ahead view.....

Slight turn to the left.... there is a a creek running all behind me and right next to this sendero, entire thing is solid white oaks

Road Clearing

Another Clearing awaiting a feeder......all red and white oaks left and plan to plant in here

Second feeder area, small creek behind feeder and long sendero to the right....heavily used hog trail here before we cleared

Nice matt! Did u let ur west texas lease go? I had to let mine go as well however i am going to hunt a place less than a mile from my house but it took ALOT of work clearing and making paths and such.. Much like u did so i understand the extent of that work Grin.. I did most of mine with a bobcat and it all borders the trinity, not a lot of deer but i hope it pays off!!!

Well I got my first set of game cam pics and while there is isn't anything to write home to mom about I thought I would share.  The spike is in serious danger if he will give me a shot with my bow, it is a two buck antler restricted county so a spike may be my best bet for a meat dear this year.
