cool story chance..
a guy gave us some emus about 15 yrs ago, dang things got out and all the cows ran thru the fence. took a week to gather all the cattle and fix the fences.

i noticed that new poly, i ordered a 40' poly last winter shure is nice for draging hogs and such , im going to try it out in a few weeks when we work all of our calves. i can pretty much garantee you it will never see an EMU. cause it would take about 10' of tail to get my horses whooped to one |

I used to trap deer & exotics for a guy full time and still do from time to time. We've done some crazy stuff, but usually the animals had some sort of tranquilizer in them. Ropin that emu horseback with one loop has to beat all. Good thing your top hand was there to pounce on that sucker. Some people might think that its "just a bird" but those things can undress you or even gut you in a heartbeat with those toenails. Good job and COOL story!!
