This is mine it's handmade, high carbon steel, elk handle around 7 inch blade holds an edge forever and is tough as a boot. Got another one being made that will be similar but with a bigger finger gaurd

I really like it. That is my second one. The first one I used for a good while and took ALOT of hogs with it, but after the TDHA torney I was re-sharpening it and noticed that there were like four small cracks in the blade. I sent it back to cold steel and they had it about a week or so and sent me my old knife back and a new one to re-place it. So all in all its a great knife, with great coustomer sevice through there company.

don't have a pic but my all time favorite and if I ever lose it I will buy another one just like it. It is the "KABAR U.S. MARINE CORPS SURVIVAL KNIFE" with the seven inch blade. I sharpened the top side 1.5" starting at the point and then made the knife's edge a little sharper but I have cut 2" saplings and will hold the edge forever even after all the abuse, and it is lightweight but strong....

Ruben, we think alike
one of my favorite knives is my K-bar,had it since I was 18 and it has done things it should have never held up to...I lost the original sheath a few years back but a good bud gave me one of the real k-bar sheathes for mine

you can get it for about 50 at wal-mart and it comes with a lifetime warranty!

Here is my new old knife, it is a pre-1964 PIC brand knife from Germany, 7 inch boar hunter, I bought it @ a pawn shop rough and rusted for 10 bucks, had an Elk antler handle put on it cause the stag handle was bad. It has some minor pits that we could not get out without going to deep, but the steel is some of the best ever made and I love the ol knife

Nice find.
The blade looks to have the same patern/style as the Kabar survival knife..
