Thanks for the kind words everyone.

He's been a helluva a dog since I got him from Craig at a year old. Caught a bunch hogs with him over the years and couldn't ask for a better one. He'll definately be missed and real hard to replace. Unfortunately, I never got any pups out of him. Here's the last good pic taken of him earlier this year...

Clifford December 2002 to May 2010...

I'm still in disbelief. Clifford has saved my dogs' tails many times - providing a stable anchor on some big bad nasty boars. You could always count on him. I remember not too very long ago I sent my tater and foxxy in on a big sow. Clifford was clipped while mike and chris tied a good boar about 500 yards away. I thought I had it handled, but the sow ducked back into a huge rose hedge. There was no room to maneuver, and the big sow was dragging the small dogs around inside that rose hedge. We were in pretty close quarters, I was on hands and knees, and screaming for clifford's help. Here he came, and saved the day.

I can think of 1001 clifford stories, but the bottom line is that he was a hell of a dog with a huge heart. There may be another dog, but none could ever replace clifford. He is and always will be loved and missed.

even though my kids havent seen but pictures of Clifford since Mike got him, i know they will be sad when i tell them this evening after school.
his name alone should tell you his personality when my girls gave him his name Clifford the big red dog was one of there favorite shows.  i told them they gave him too much love is why he got so big.  Grin,     and thats the reason Mike ended up with him he was a little big for me.
Clifford couldnt have had a better home to spend the rest of his days.  thanks for giving him a full life Mike.

Mike, sorry to hear about Clifford.  I'm sure he'll be hard to replace.  I've lost two curs in the last 5 months.  It may set you back but you'll never forget him.  :'(

RIP Clifford....
