I got invited to go to a place i had not been in four years. I was excited its the best place i have ever hunted over a thousand acres lots of water lots of thick brush. Its between Pleasanton and floresville. My buddy that normally goes with me had other plans. But he let me take his lead dog thank god. i brought two buddies only one of them has dogs he brought a pit and i brought two. We met up with three other guys they only brought two solid help rough dogs. We got there around 11. Turned loose walked for ten minutes bayed up in thick brush three barks and the race was on. but only my buddies lead dog was doing the racing lol. HE kept getting farther as we were getting closer the garmin just kept going. FInally it stopped way over a half of a mile it said treed quarry. We were in a field it was pretty windy and couldnt hear him barking so me and one buddy lead two pits that way got within a 150 yards it broke. I thought he was coming back he got to 75 yards and opened up and the help dogs raced in there and all joined in sent the cds that way followed close behind. And got top this dam good boar i would say close to 200 didnt weigh him but thats what i am guessing. he had inch and a half teeth didnt cut any dogs took us well over and a hour to get to this hog good work from the dog sticking with it.
We finally met back up with the other guys and started our walk back to the truck finally got there about 45 minutes later were gathering up the dogs they through theres loosly in the back of the truck i loaded up my help dog and my buddys and the cds. Was watching the garmin my buddys lead dog went out a 150 yards and slowly started coming back in. When all of a sudden that guys two solid help dogs bailed out and about thirty seconds later one of them opened up a 150 yards away than the other two joined in kicked all mine out and took off that way. When we got close we herd squealing so we were kinda like dam they caught a littler one. When we got there we could belive thise boar these eight dogs had caught. It took a good minute or so for him to go down before we legged him he was just cattying these dogs with him. WHen we drug him to the gate we were so surprised i knew it was the biggest hog i have ever killed and than everybody else said the same thing. So there were 6 of us and with dogs that was the biggest hog we had ever killed. The next day around lunch time i took him to my bosses house and weighed him. He was 290 but everyone said he was prob over that right when we killed him with all his fluids still in him. So i am gonna say 300.

first Boar 200
