Hey y'all,
I live in south central Kansas - but originally from near Tyler, TX. I've hunted hog before but without dogs. I'm getting a red leopard catahoula soon that I would like to train to hunt hog - but ain't got any idea how to go about doing that. Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Well, I've only been here a year and know that was the case based on what folks have said - but now I think that's only on public land. You can do what you want on your own; or let somebody run dogs on your property, especially if the hogs are tearing it up. Oilfield guys shoot 'em all the time.

I'm actually looking to hunt in OK and TX.

Coyote... sent you an email. The "dog" I'm picking up is just a puppy (8 weeks old). Will prolly take you up on the offer later this year.

I'll be going through this site looking for training or tips etc.
