Found this website, I'm very interested to see how this turns out, really hopein this doesn't ruin the name of our sport anymore than it already is. Sure would be fun to do somethin like this if it works out.

X2!!!!

I dont think anyone with a hog hunting website should show a dog cut up like the two dogs they showed pictures of. That is not something the public needs to see regardless if the dogs were treated etc.

Great!  That's exactly how I want our sport presented to the general public.  Looks like a bad epsiode of cops minus the crack pipe.

i just watched their video catching the no ear hog and i was not impressed at all.   first off they should have had a catch dog or 2 with them to start with.
then the catch dog didnt have on a vest. and then they were worried about a little water in a ditch. they kept saying they werent scared but my eyes were seeing a bunch of scared dudes..    not my type of hunting buddies..

dont get me wrong im not trying to slam then and make my way look like the best way.     i just want the rest of the world reading this to know thats not the way everyone catches hogs..    it all goes back to being prepaired and a little planning.
if i leave out to a bay  i will have a catch dog with me and we will catch it ears or no,   water or no water..

My son found this site a month or so ago though a youtube peta propaganda video and there was a video on there of 2 dog playing tug a war with a 60lb pig one on the tail and one on a ear and one ole boy was cheering them on and the pig lost it's tail...not good...and why did they have to call it SOUTHERN .....   it's more like   $$$$$$$$$$$ambition.... they better get it right or it won't help..... my 2 cents

Them boys were SCARED. If they were worried about their dogs they would have put a vest on them catch dogs.. That is definitely not what I want as a representation of our sport.

I watched some of their videos from the website and youtube both,......doesn't seem to me to be something that the general public should see. These boys will have to take it easy with what they put out to the public or we will all suffer. I too agree that they go off half-roostered at times.....don't understand why they didn't have a firearm of some sort on the earless hog if they weren't going to have their catch dogs handy......one shot and it would have been over. I don't understand why so many hogdogging videos have the heavy metal, headbanging, screaming music to go along with the hunts....I'm all for listening to the kind of music that you like, but that stuff seems a bit out of place on a hunting video.....at least to me.

"the voice of reason" thats pretty scary! looks like they are hi-jacking the handicap shopping carts at Walmart, have a year and half old finished dog for $1200, pictures of a black & Tan houndy dog missing hair all around its eyes, alot left to be desired to be a representative of a day in the life of a hog hunter,

I am currently doing an article on the effects of feral hogs in Central Texas. In the article, I am highlighting hog dogging. I know that every sport has its rotten apples but it does not take long to notice that some hunters take the safety of the dogs to the next level. I feel that people who are not educated will look at this with negative ideas on the sport as a whole. I am not trying to belittle anyone - but people who dislike this type of hunting are looking for ammo.
