Does anyone feed supplements to your hunting dogs? I feed my horses Platinum Performance and it is great stuff! Wondering if anyone feeds it to there dogs? Or what do you suggest?

I think minerels during summer is great for preventing heat stroke, I also use a horse electrolyte this time of year in there water you can get at any feed store.

I give  my dogs Pet Tabs, it is full of Calcium and they eat em straight out of my hand.  Bottle aint but $7 and it has 50 tablets..

well it depends on what your looking for.... as i have heard "Nuvet plus" is great for nutrition, vitamins and also helps build muscle .. and "Bullymax" is great for muscles and daily vitamins...but they are more on the expensive side...hope that helps but only my .02

Thanks everyone. Electrolytes are good, but I know with horses if you feed it to them in their water it can cause them to only drink that water. If you haul off to rodeos or other places they will not drink the water. Does anyone use the electrolyte tabs? I know the hot weather is coming and I want to be prepared.
