Last Friday we got together with a landowner and his son to try and get this one boar hog they have been seeing. Hunted a long ways and dogs ended up stiking and baying him up in some thick blood weeds. Long story short he cut both catchdogs pretty good and got away. Landowner called back this past week and said there was fresh rooting not far from where we hit the boar, so we decided to go after him again yesterday. Dogs bayed him 50 yards from where he was nested last time. Ended up only weighing 228# but had some decent teeth and the attitude to go with 'em. Loaded the dogs up and hit another small place down the road and got a nice sow that went 244#. Called the dogs back in and headed home because it was too hot to hunt any longer.

Very nice haul there, nearly 475lbs in two hogs is good enough for me!

We seem to always think that the meanest hogs are also the biggest, just natural I reckon, but that's not always the case as you've proven here. Glad that you got your revenge on that boy....good deal!
