caught this big boar on the san antonio river right outside of floresville, cut the strike dog pretty good on the shoulder n sliced his boys right open . other then that it was a good hunt, weighed him in right at 350

Great hog, I'll bet he was a handfull.  I was going to post a pig I caught Friday but he looks like a runt compared to yours.  Great job.

jdjp, the short hair is kinda normal around here, most of the hogs have long hair but there are a few that have short hair like this one

Real nice boar!  Seems like when it warms up they scratch all that winter hair off and alot of em look kind of slick like that this time of year or they will have bald spot where they have been scratching.

no we didnt ttry to hobble it, when we got to the bay and saw my buddys strike dog sliced open we killed the hog and started working on getting the strike dog back to the truck to sew him up
