All of our long time members already know this, but here lately there's been several new members that don't. It's real simple folks, post with respect and you'll get along just fine on this forum. There's always going to be discussions/debates on various topics, "pit vs dogo", "hound vs cur", "to vest or not to vest", etc... That's fine, a lot of good information is shared on these type of posts. As long as they're done in a respectful manner... we don't have a problem with it.

Forcing your views upon others, name calling, trash talking and just plain smart a$$ comments in general will not be tolerated. It's as simple as that... enjoy the boards! Grin

a little good natured arguing over a subject is fine, but some do take it to far with personal insults, etc. Just my opinion.

Sounds like the use of common sense and courtesy is all that's needed.

That being said Mike, I want to thank all for their posts. I wish I'd of had this wealth of info 30yrs ago. I have learned more and had my eyes opend to so many new ideas since finding this site. Never would have found it had it not been for my wife lol. This is an incredible site and such an awesome tool. It should make better dogmen of all of us, and better quality of life for our dogs as well. I learn at least 6 different things from this site everyday. Not everything posted works for me, but everything I take a lot from it that I can and do use. If you ever start a forum for what not to do, I could probably fill at least half of it lol. Maybe with the help of this site I can keep others from making the same mistakes I have, while learning ways to keep from making more lol.  To me thats kind of the point of it. Thanks again to ETHD, and all its members.

I'm living proof that you never know it 'all',.....I've been hunting hogs with dogs for over 35 years and I still learn something new quite often on here. I'm farly new here and just getting to know a few of the regulars, but I thoroughly enjoy my time on here....thanks to everyone that has answered my questions and helped me out so far....it's greatly appreciated and I hope that I can help some of y'all if possible. Good luck on your next hunt!

I wanted to bring this back to the top for all of our newer members.

Seems like the heat has been getting to everyone lately, which it does every summer... time to cool down so we don't have to start culling. Wink
