I have been putting it in a spray bottle and diluting it 50/50 and then spraying the dog down and rubbing it in. By the time I am done with all 5 of my dogs I can go back near the first dog and there are flies that land on the dog after spraying that are neurologically messed up! I also have sprayed the area (dirt) around the dogs and have seen the roaches and other bugs with the same effects within 30 minutes. Good luck with getting rid of your bugs! I also have stopped using the spray bottle due to if you don't use up all of the solution it will coagulate and clog the straw and nozzle after sitting.

I take that back! After responding to your post I went out and sprayed all my dogs again and realized that the pumping action of the sprayer bubbles the solution and causes it to coagulate instantly, It has nothing to do with sitting! It wasn't something you asked about but I just wanted to point it out instead of you finding out the same way I did. It does work pretty quickly though.

same as advantage not front line, takes 2 days dont wash the dog before or after......better yet get ortho max tree and shrud it does not have fertalizer in it...main ing-imidacloprid 15 cc/ml from head to tail for a 50-80 lb dog-shake bottle real good before applying start at tail and run your finger up the dogs back to get the hair to stand up and soak up the stuff,if you just pour it on it will roll off the dog and be waisted...for some reason dogs like to lick it,i havent seen and side affects been using this for 6 years

Has anyone ever put permethrin 10% in the Bayer for ticks? We put 3cc in the 40 oz bottle but it dont seem to be working. the fleas are dead but not the ticks. oh yeah we only put 2-3cc on each dog down there back. thanks Clayton
