Well guys i love to hunt but i had to hang up the dogs to get a few catfish in the freezer tonight my question is catfish or pork ...... do u ever just take a break off swine and do some thing else like bass,catfish , trotlines ,jugs or bow fish


we caught around 70 fish last night smallest weighing in at around 3 lbs i will post the pic tomorrow im tired 2:29 am and been in boat since 7:00 pm

When it's hot like this there is nothing like a good fishing hole. I haven't had to much luck with crappie lately but I have been slaughtering the largemouth and sandbass.

I'm currently in Rock Port with the family we are going to do some bay fishing for Reds and Trout.  I'll post some pics if we get anything.

If I didnt take my wife fishing regulerly, I would be in a bind! Anything in the water is good this time of year.

How did your cd manage to catch that slick headed cat fish?  Did he get finned?  How do you keep your dogs from trashing on carp and gar? Lol

That's a good mess of cats you gto there bud,....good job. I love to fish and do it quite a bit in summer. It's soooooo dang hot and humid here that I'm afraid to run my dogs for fear of 'em heat stroking. It's not even a bit cool in the wee hours of the morning. I went trout fishing here while back and had a heck of a day.....we caught about 20 or so, I was on duty the next day so I took them to the station with me and cooked 'em for supper, I baked them in the oven and they were mighty fine, the guys at my station 'bout got sick we ate so many of them.
