Every time I smell 3-in-1 oil I think about all the memorable big game safaris I had with my Daisy Red Rider. lol. I know a few of you can relate to the overwhelming disappointment I felt when I watched the BB bounce right off the 1st rabbit I ever fired at. lol.
After that it was a 410 single shot. I loved it! I finally got to practice skinning small game shortly after getting  that gun.

My first rifle was a Chipmunk 22, bolt action, single shot, with a scope. I was deadly with that little rifle.
In this photo, the Chipmunk is the top one.

My daughters both got Red Rider BB guns as their first, then moved up to Ruger 10/22.

My first was actually 2 firearms, a marlin model 60 22 and a winchester model 1300 semi auto 12 ga, I was 7 and it was the greatest B-day gift ever. I used Dad's guns before then.

My first gun that was aaaallll mine was my Springfield Armory XD 9mm. It was a gift from my husband. I love the way it feels, love the way it fires & love the ease of the design. The trigger pull is perfect for my girly lack of hand strength & fully loaded it doesn't weigh a ton. It's fun to shoot too!

My first rifle is the AR-15. I claim it as mine but I'm not sure Sean shares that sentiment completely Wink  Grin Grin Grin

Sean's always been good at buying me gifts & my XD is no exception.

The first gun that was ever actually mine was my great grandfathers 22. The wood on the stock had broken and he had it nail back together. The barrel was scuffed up pretty bad. It wasn't pretty but it was the most accurate gun I have ever shot.

Circle C I have a pair of rifles that are twins to the ones in your pic, the .22 is a cricket that we bought our oldest girl when she was 7 and the other .22 is a marlin take down .22 lever action extremely accurate as well, I know you said yours wac a chipmunk but there twins all the way

My first real gun was and is a marlin .22LR bolt action. Have no idea what model it is. Doesn't say anywhere on the rifle. I got it from my grandfather. It was his. They stopped doing any sort of small game hunting when I was a kid and my parents generation were all hippies... so I just assumed control of it. Still have it. Also got his Marlin 336 30-30. That's about all I have from the Old Man to rememebr him. I plan on maybe getting the 336 restocked and someone woodburn an epithet to him on it.

BB gun, then on to pellet gun.  After that my first real gun was a bolt action mossberg .410 that was my grandpaws and then my dads and now mine.  I learned how to shoot with that gun and still own it.  I have a lot of guns and that one is special.

My first real gun was a H&R single shot .410 that my Dad bought for me when I was around 5 or 6 years old. I killed many a squirrel and rabbit with that little gun throughout my childhood.

When I was in high school, this punk my sister was dating broke in and stold all of my guns, including a Winchester 30/30 that my grandpa had given me. Those guns were never recovered, but a few years later that boy was shot and killed while trying to rob a convenience store.

That sucks! I lost my H&R 410 and .22 in a house fire when I was in the 5th grade. I was devastated! Having them stolen and never recovered just seems worse to me for some reason. Evil

I was deadly with my Red Rider. No lizard was safe. Some time in elementery school I got a bolt action 22 from my dad. I will give it to my son in a year or so. I have pictures of me with that 22 holding a rabbit by the ears over my head and the rabbits feet on the ground. I say was born with a gun in my hand. I know it is not possible. I did not get my first gun until I got my first diaper!

My first gun was a Winchester Model 61 pump, got that before I got a bb gun. My grandpa gave it to me when I was 5yo. I still have it and still use it on occasion, and still one of the most accurate .22s I've ever shot.

My first gun was rubberband gun!  Grin I shot so many geckos with it! My first gun that used powder was a Mossberg 500 I got for my 16th birthday from my step dad, I've still got it and take it out every so often to shoot some clays.
