Me and my buddy Gerald Davis have been huntin for about a year and a half together and we r just now catching our first hog. We went out to my lease last night where their was a little bit of old sign but the dogs seemed like they were more worried about the 4 wheelers than gettin out huntin. Needless to say it wasnt to fresh. We ended up getting a hold of one of Geralds buddy and he said he knew where a good hog was crossing a dirt road of course we was game. We got to the spot lookin at tracks and decided we wanted to let the dogs run. We started walking through the pasture and heard my cat and his bm cur, that he just got that day started bayin. It was a wonderful sound. We got to the hog and let the catch dog loose. Geralds catch dog aint but about 40lbs about 1 year old and only been on 1 in the woods before this one. She got on that ear and believe me she wasnt lettin loose. All in all we are very proud of our dogs. That is the 11th hog my cat dog has been on out in the woods.

Yea its a real good feelin to catch one like that with just your own dogs. The good part about it is that their aint a dog on his yard or my yard that we paid anything for. All of them was free. I couldnt be more happy with them. Good luck to ya

I tell ya me and my buddy was EXCITED. Seems like if me and him dont go together than we catch hogs but me and him can never seem to seal the deal. Ive caught a few without him. Its just that me and him has turned loose so many times together and aint never got one. It was a real good night. Shoot Im ready for some biggens. I think this one might have went around 180 to 200. Ill take that any day of the week right there.

Sure is better lookin now that I see a bigger picture. Was that left ear marked or was that done by the dogs? I'm glad you and Gerald finally got y'all one. Me, you, nick, and Gerald need together and go to Jewett one night to some of my places and catch us some good hogs. What did y'all end up doing with him?
