Thought I might scare machine 73 with that title... Grin

I haven't been hunting much due to the heat. Guess Monkey had too much free time as he got to my JJ female. Anyway she had 8 pups yesterday hope she can raise them in this heat. 8 pups and 11 people on a waiting list and I will probably keep 1-2 pups.......seems I may be short some pups!

Now lets see if she can raise them in this heat!!

Proud Daddy Monkey.

Well I planned on breeding them together as the first litter is doing real well. They are two years old now and most everyone that has one likes them. I was just going to wait until this winter, guess Monkey didn't want to wait that long!!

There is an ad on Baydog.com that a man who has a male Monkey x JJ cross from the first litter put on there. I called him and talked to him.  He REALLY likes that male and has pups for sale off him. Hope this litter does as well.

John I need to be hunting the bob x red pups but I just can't get interested in this heat. Good way to kill or overheat a dog.
Plus they still act real immature. Just letting them grow up a little before I go to pushing them this fall.
The only monkey offspring I have is spur. Monkey is 5 years old and spur is 3. Time for another!

Well I am going to try and not get attached to any until I see if they are going to make it.......but....the ringneck looks just like his three quarter brother spur....so I may be partial to him. Will just have to see.

Noah I usually don't pick mine until they are 5 to 6 weeks old. They usually have personalities by then.

Btw when I got home from work today there was a new pup in the box but it was dead. I counted pups and now there are 10 live pups plus the one that died.........that's 11 total she had over 48 hours..hope she is through......
