both have their pluses both have their minuses..i will say whichever you go with make sure BOTH parents are hog catching dogs. i would also go with performance AB's, the johnson's look cool but they overheat and aren't the best cds. make sure if you go the dogo route you get one from someone that has a history of breeding catchdog dogos. there are several on here that do this. both will get the job done...it's personal preference...

Why not go with another Pit?? Haha! I'm sorry I had to take the free shot while it was available! I have no experience with hunting with either choice but would go with the Dogo due to the odds it could hunt on its own being greater.

I think if you get a well bred dog from either breed you will be happy. Thats my .02 I have hunted with both and cant see much of a difference, the way we use them as lead in cd's. They make good anchors and with two on an ear its hard for any hog to do much.

Both are great but i have Dogo's. Here are the parents of mine and these are the people i got her from. They only breed proven hunting dogs, guarantee their pups, and in my case took a loss just to get her to a hunting home. Therefore I highly reccomend them. The sire is Galen Del Do Yel, and the mom is Perro Pelea Cordobes Paloma. http://www.dogo-argentinokennel.com/pages/our_dogs.htm

Very nice looking ab's there scott, i really like the ones who's nose is not pushed in. I agree that you should stay away from the Johnson type and stick with the performance as scott said. Those are similiar to the ones muleman has and they are Great. On the CD X's post there are some other good looking s.o.b's by crib..... again very nice dogs scott!
