The mini poodle thread made me wonder and I would love to see if anyone has pics or video of non traditional hunting dogs on hogs? i'm not talking about random terriers or labs or other dogs still have lots of hunting drive but like someones chihuahau or pug or a husky or something wierd.

Mike and Matt will remember a german shepherd looking yard dog that kept striking hogs on a hunt we went on with Sam. He was a bad son of a gun and he kept striking and baying hogs even when we were ready to go!

My buddy Shawn's number one dog used to be a Boykin Spaniel. He caught lots of hogs with him and he would try just about any hog .. I'll see if he has some pics of him..

when we were in highschool and were teenagers we used to hunt a bunch of dairys chicken houses and silage pits and our main dog was my buddys old german shepard gyp...she ddnt have the coldest nose but once she got on a track that was it you could give it up she was gna work that track out and put a hog at the end of it almost 9 times outs 10...rip ole sadie  |

POUND PUPPY HERE SON... THIS DOG ALMOST ALWAYS DID BETTER THAN THE BULLDOGS WHEN IT WAS LEGAL TO PASS A GOOD TIME... I'VE SEEN MANY A GOOD DOG LOSE TO THIS LAB, IN THE QUICK LOCK AS WELL AS THE QUICK CATCH. I TELL YOU, THESE WER SOME FUN TIMES HERE... 200 PLUS DOGS, RUNNING UNTIL 2 TO 3PM IN THE MORNING... DAMN ASPCA AND HUSU...   |

BMP IMAGES ARE A PAIN... I HAVE A DASHOUND RIGHT NOW THAT WILL BURN UP A HOGS BUTT,SHE'S 10 YEARS OLD. I'VE ALSO SEEN BOSTON TERRIERS RUN HOGS HARD AS WELL,NOT MUCH BOTTOM THOUGH. The teams weenie dog found this hog. He goes every hunt. Been bang up a bunch and has had some broken bones. He keeps going though!  |
