 Whats the best method of cleaning a dogs ears?

Man, I have always used a squirt bottle , fill it with half and half water and alcohol..squirt it in their ears and I promise you that it will keep the ear clean of wax build up and kill any mites in there...

Thats what Im looking for, I spent an hour on each ear the other day with q-tips and it was boring as hell. But now hopefully she will listen a lil better Smiley Hard headed hound
