My buddy Thomas and myself went to a water mellon patch that has been getting hit hard with hogs this morning.
Dogs hunted out while we sat around and shot the breeze some what . The dogs came back two three times , Thomas dogs are a little more rangey than mine so mine checked back in a few more times than Thomas dogs.
The dogs all took off for a while agian but this time didnt come back for a long while mine showed up and Thomas dogs didnt so we tracked towards them then all the sudden mine took off and we drove a little futher and heard the bay . Thomas dogs had hit on a big big big boar hog and found him well we walked and walked then we could hear my dogs get there and Mojo and Steve of course ruff suckers latched on but we could never hear no squealing and you know what that means a big one is in store!
We get there Mojo and Steve are latched on each ear and the hog is in about a foot of water so Thomas jumps in grabs a leg and we stick the hog but man this hog was heavy and I mean heavy both me and Thomas could hardly drag this sucker to the bank to get some pics . This ole hog must have weighted somewere around 250 he was thick and he was fat !
He was bad to had two half cutters broken off and they were like razors blades and they did a number on Mojo cut one of his man hoods out and we had to finish the job and Mojo has not got one of his Mojo's no more, a pretty ruff cut man . I sure hope he can still make some pups later on and Steve got hit right under the cut vest in the shoulder which was a pretty big hole in his shoulder but all in all we got Mojo fixed up and his is out and resting now and Steve is ok they will be fine might be awhile .
All in all in two hunts I now have three dogs down Mojo, Steve and ole Blu all wearing vest but all in the M A S H unit right now all of them are gonna be out for some time .
