Just needed a place to vent, seems like a good place to let off some steam. Alot of aggravation in regards to all the he/she said bs from self proclaimed professional doggers with just a little actual experience. Being good with words doesn't make an expert, trial, error, hit, and miss does. No one is perfect and no one is right all the time, but some would argue. Good for them! No one incident in particular just whats been seen/heard from groups over some time. Just think about how you act and treat others to wether you fit the bill. This has become high school with all the clicks and ganging up on one another. But I am an individual and like the way I do things and don't wanna be part of no click or group of never wrong super doggers!

I know exactly on you feel bud. I went tho the whole deal with all the damn drama between hog hunters. The worst part is there all friends but talk number 2 on eachother and this and that it's ridiculous you know. That's why I just play it by ear and invite one or two of my good buddies who isn't part of the drama and just go hunt. I want to hunt not deal with high school again! I'll tell you what tho my fiancé pro barrel races and that whole drama is just as bad it's damn sickening!!

I dont know that there are any pro doggers on this web site. I say that because the people that I know that are true men or ladies that are in this sport dont look at them self as pros. They are a little more likey not to be pattting them selves on the back.They are just doing somthing they love. I have been doing this for over 30 years and still trying to get it right.

One a serious note this time Alan. I don’t know all the details on what has you frustrated but I am with Mr. P. on this one. I read in a “best seller” one time that said “THE MEEK WILL INHERIT THE EARTH”. I believe it! I bet that includes good dogs also! I have been around the dog drama all my life Alan. You can’t get away from it in a social setting (even on the WWW) no matter what kind of dogs you run. The best thing to do with what is frustrating you is to just ignore it when you can’t get away from it and defend yourself or your friends when you need to. I have travelled the world for over 20 years now meeting many interesting people. Some of the most respectable, honorable, God fearing people I have run across were dog hunters. Some of the worst lying, underhanded, back stabbing, thieving, people I have ever run across were dog hunters also. It takes all kinds brother. PS. My reputation is ruined now that everyone knows one of my hunting buddies runs a hound.  Thanks! lol |
