Ninja you hit the nail on the head.  It all comes back to pride.  But if people understood that any and everything we could even consider being proud about started with the man upstairs.  Whether it be dogs or the ability to train a dog.

Alright Chance, I'm really not sure what an AAA (Triple A) meeting would have to do with hound hunting.  It is an auto club.  However, an AA (Alcoholics Anonymous ) might be of use to some.  However, generally you don't need to drink while running hounds.  It is a very pleasurable experience.  Very soothing for the soul.  I'm not asking to convert Circle C, Matt, or Mike.  They are die hard cur guys with a vast knowledge of hog dogging, and they could never be swayed.  However, the Ninja, well he's only been hunting around 30 years, so he really does not know what works yet.  Let me have just one token rookie hog dogger.  The Ninja fits the bill.  He's old and a loaner anyway.  Certainly he won't be the driving force to change all of Texas to "HOUND" hog doggers.  Or might he?Huh?Huh?Huh?? Shocked Shocked

You decide.

Leave me and my Plott out of this. Smiley  I don't give a darn what the dog is, if it hunts how I like it, I'll use it. Hound, poodle, cur, whatever... Grin

I am certainly not blinded by some ticks....

I would to agree with circle BUT I will say it's always been a rival between curs vs hounds and hog hunters vs bear hunters. It will always be and it always be good times talking crap on eachother and giving them hard time for running hounds or curs.   Wink

And with that being said. Those damn hounds lol

Might want to look at the "No love" bread stick thread then.

In all seriousness, I think the Boar Ninja already has a few of those.  Maybe that is why he is short, those freaking ankle biters. Evil

I think he does, but for these purebred hog dogs no break stick needed, they catch on command, release on command, load up, hunt, find a hog, bark on trail or silent, all on command. A started one is @ 10-15 buck$, a finished is no more than 50. They eat very little, and crap even less. Even come with instructions!
