Nice post! My son said he wants to be a army guy for halloween yesterday and today he came home talking about how they watched a 9/11 documentary in school today. That is awesome.
I had to have the Obama vs. McCain talk with my 8 year old daughter the other night. When I went in to say her prayers with her, she wanted to know who I supported & why. I told her about each candidate & what they supported, and where they stood on "the issues." I'm proud to say, that my daughter now recognizes that she thinks like a conservative as well. She soaked it all up like a dern sponge. At least she can now go to school and tell her friends WHY her daddy supports a candidate.

Rick Perry lost my support when he signed that HSUS breeders bill in Texas last year. That showed me he cared more about $$$ than whats right, cuz he can get more campaign $$ from hsus than from dog hunters. If he can be bought on that bill, what else will he sell out for. ? Republicans are following the old party playbook and it's Mitt Romney's turn to run, regardless of the fact he couldnt get people excited at a Mormon revival,, absolutely milk toast boring and another moderate Republican. They need Allen West to run, and,, you state what you stand for and tell folks if you like what i stand for, vote for me,, if not, vote for the other guy. I'm sick of Republicans saying one thing to get conservative vote, then talk out the other side of their mouth to get the independants. Just say what you mean and stick to it! But push come to shove, its about gettin Obama out of office.

This is why negative ads work. Too often, we don't vote for a candidate, we vote against one. How many times have we all held our noses and voted for a bad candidate because we really were voting against a worse candidate. I know I have. We end of with a piece of crap officeholder, but the less stinky of our choices. I wish they would put "Neither of the Above" as an option, and if it won, they would hold the election again and neither of the previous candidates would be allowed to run. Won't happen, but it is wishful thinking. |

FACT:
President Obama just started his 2012 re election campaighn on May 5, his campaighn is called forward (I think)
FACT:
Karl Marx "marxism/communism" (very popular communist who's goal is to destroy capitalism) was born on May 5, and wrote a book called forward (same name as O's campain!!)
I could tie many other facts together, which may be just serendipity, but are still scary to speculate about, however this forum isn't the place and Im scared to talk about it anywhere public (work/forum etc)
