Just wanted to show people what barrowed hogs can grow into if you break out their whetters when you're also removing "the boys!" This hog has been running through some big country North of Huntsville on one of my good buddy's leases. He's not a member of this sight but hunts regularly and catches good hogs but he still hasnt been able to line this one out! He got on him about a month ago but the bay broke before the CD got there and he ran them into pigs... Hopefully we can get him caught this weekend, we're gonna drop some rough stock on him and try and get him shut down quick... we'll see Smiley

The hogs nickname is "limosuine" because he is soo long, the pic doesnt do him justice, he's a barr in the 350+ range

we caught this one last year, his whetters had beeen broken out

They make really great trophies for the wall!

I am not sure this is the best way but it is how we do it....We catch it tie it and then put a 2x2 in his mouth and take a pair of wire cutters made to cut real heavy guage wire and just cut them out at the gum line.  Works great but them dang wire cutters are not cheep.  I paid like $65 for the pair.

i tried them but I found that they sometimes would not open up enough and they are crazy heavy to carry around in a pack.

we use one those 5$ cable tree limb saws you get in the camping or survival junk at the army navy surplus store. wrap it around the inside 5-6 pulls back and forth good bump from the heal of your boot (snap).roll it up and you can carry it in your back pocket
