Well my name is Shawn Dillard im from a small southeast TEXAS town called EVADALE, and i have only been hunting dogs for about 6 years. Growing up me and my brothers and buddies were always in the woods hunting and fishing bc that was all there was to do there. We never had any hunting dogs we would just gun hunt but i have always loved dogs.Well a buddy of mine has some hog dogs and asked if i wanted to go hunt with him so i did and ever since then i have been hooked. So about 6 years ago me and my brother decided to get us a couple of dogs and try our luck so we bought a few dogs (culls) from some guys around town and started taking them out, it didnt take long to see that we didnt have the type of dogs that we wanted so we started putting a little more money into buying us some dogs, and now we have 4 grown dogs 3 pups and a little of pups that just hit the ground out of our #1 dog. We have 2 good find dogs, 1 is a bmc and the other is a bmc/plott(the one that just had the litter), 1 help dog that is a bmc and 1 pit cd. We have high hope for the pups that we have so hopefully in a few years we will have us a soild pack of dogs.

My name is Dustin. I work in the oil field for 6 years now and have been hunting hogs with my own dogs for almost 3 years now. Growing up I could have cared less about school all I wanted to do was hunt, didn't matter what kind of animal it was. What got me started hog hunting was the addrinaline rush that I got the first time I ever went. I don't have a certain breed that I hunt, there are certain things I like about all breeds. I have 7 bay/strike( most are young) dogs and 2 catch dogs. I still have alot to learn about this sport and I'm not affraid to do what ever it takes to learn it. I mostly walk and catch my hogs alive. Though I have hunted off four wheeler, truck, and horses. I like meeting new people to see what style works for them.
