Picking up a new garmin tracking system today the only thing it lacks in the sd card and i was wondering if when you buy the card if the maps are already on it and if not how would i go about uploading them? never owned a system before so this is all new to me

I'm actually trading a dog for it suppose to have been used only a handful of times im pretty excited i found the sd card down the road from my house at eastforkhuntinsupplies for 25 bucks is that a good deal?

Yes, thats a good deal for that SD card. Just make sure it's not one of those cards that you go on the internet to download maps from because we know a few
people who have done that and it messed their garmin up. Not saying that it happens to everyone, just something to be aware of. Ours is a Topo card.

the one i got from him has all the creeks names street names and its pretty accurate an everything it has the works hell i lived by this creek my whole life never knew the name of it got that card and found out the name of it where it leads too where it goes into the river at everything it shows everything its pretty cool |

I ORDERED A CUT VEST AND COLLAR FROM EASTFORK .IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE TODAY.I SAW THAT CARD AFTER I ORDERED AND WISHED ID SEEN IT BEFORE SO I COULD JUST PAY SHIPPING ONE TIME.I WAS WONDERING IF IT WAS READY TO GO. DO YOU JUST PUT IT IN AND ITS AUTOMATICLY ON YOUR UNIT.THANKS FOR THE INFO.

u can buy sd and micro sd cards cheaper than 25. i paid 15 for mine at best buy and it is a 4 or 8 gig card. there is a link on the forum that has instructions on how to load the maps on the card and i havent had any problems with mine. this is the link that was on the forum a while back. http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/index.php?topic=7547.0 follow the instructions and it should work fine for u unless the unit is messed up |

I went to his house and when he handed me the card it was ready to go i put it in my garmin and sure enough it was updated and everything he is a good guy an his vest are pretty nice i personally like his cut collars they have a BIG velcro connection and still has the 2 buckles he also has AWESOME deals on his collars with name plates it seems the more you buy the better the deals get ... only guy i'll go through these days |
