Van Dorn, Jim Ed and I met some boys Saturday in Madisonville; just a hop, skip and jump from Bucee's and we were at Colby's house. We met Tanner, Colby and David around daylight and headed out. Big E had brought, Boogie and Roscoe, Drake and Briar(me) and David had Mable, Annie and Reba with him.. the dogs rolled out from the trailer and we could hear the race getting further and further. After 3/4 of mile that sat down bayed, we all drove in to them and the bay broke just as we got there. 800 yards later they had him sitting down again in a youpon thicket. I got to watch the dogs for awhile and just as David turned Obama loose the hog broke and went about 30 yards. By the time I got there David had him legged and Tanner was helping with the flip. Nothing else to special, boar hog went 200#.. had some really nice "utility cutters" attached to his jaw! David and Tanner  Me   |
