Went to our hunting camp this weekend and put the dogs in the kennels Friday. They were acting strange, like they did not want to stay in there, but I did not see any ants or fleas. We have not used these kennels in a few months but they are clean, sand with a wooden box. Anyway went hunting Friday night till Sat. mid morning, the cur dogs feet seemed a little swollen and red but it was wet in the woods, so I thought they were foot sore. My gyp got cut so we left her out and noticed her vagina was swollen and red, and she is not in heat but thought the boar could of knocked her against a tree, rock, whatever. She did take a pretty good hit and was urinating blood but that cleared up by the end of the day and her legs started to swell not bad but you could tell they had filling. Took the others dogs alittle bit sat night and they bayed one in a pond and rode around the rest of the night. Sun morning they were tired and their feet were a little swollen, by the time we got home, their legs and feet were swollen and monday morning they looked terrible, especially the gyp that got cut. I gave them some bute sunday afternoon and then some benydril that night and cold baths, monday looks like these pics. I know it wasn't fleas or ants coz what ever bit them, bit me on my knee sat. I have little bumps and sunday it started to really itch and monday it was hot and huge. has anybody ever had this happen? I don't know what else to do, I was told it could take up to 36 hours to see improvement. Any suggestions? These were taken this morning.

Yea, three out of the four are better. My little gyp is still alittle swollen and not feeling well, she has problems with heat and was cut in the chest, but I found alittle spot on one of the dogs hock and one on the gyp. Their lymph nodes on their hind legs are still big and hot, so I will keep them on antibotics for a week. But thanks for asking. I know my knee is still alittle sore. Florida crud bugs.

We raised her. She is out of our little cur gyp that goes back to Mr. James McClains stuff and a blue lacy dog that came from Texas. I not for sure what he is crossed with but he got more brindle the older he got. he is a pic of each

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
