You know, It is sad to say but my dogs are my family and this story really tears my heart. I cant imagine what I would do if all my dogs were killed like that. I can't imagine it! TO THE FAMILY,,Iam GRATELY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS! I don't have but 4 dogs and need them very badly but If i had some that I was selling, I would damn sure give them to you to get started again. I know they cant be replaced but its just the thought that counts. Again I am truly sorry.

Now the man that did this, you know who you are, you are probably reading this post, you are a sick SUMBICH!

When I first saw this it infuriated me so bad I couldn't even comment about it. It's the same with humans as it is with dogs , If you don't cull hard you won't ever have anything but a bunch of sorry pieces of sh!t..

First seen it was so sick and mad didn't have the words.

And I still don't!

Lock up is not good enough for those kinds of people , regular laws don't fit the crime,  they need to be handed over to a few of us and let us dish out their punishment , then and only then could you say they got what they really deserved!

I feel real bad for them but I will say... don't make little people mad. This was probly a person that they made mad and knew he couldn't win a fist fight and didn't want to get in a gun fight. Could have been someone they made mad tresspassing or road rage or stealin their girlfriend. Definitly not right but you can't mess with certain people.

I'm in agreement with those who say someone had a bone to pick with the family. It's unfortunate that someone would be so sick and vindictive.

It's interesting how many people would take a human life for committing such cruelty to animals. I know many of us say we wouldn't shoot if there was someone trying to steal our dogs, but seeing this article may make you rethink your position. Knowing that someone would do such a thing makes me want to use deadly force to protect what's mine. A truck or a saddle is a different story, but I believe that my dogs are family and I will protect my family. "Fearing for my own life" are some pretty easy words to utter.

Does this change anyone's opinion on whether or not you would use deadly force to protect your dogs, or does everyone still pretty much have the same stance as before?

By the way, I believe there is a nice toasty place in hell for someone who could be so cruel. A wood chipper and a catfish pond could expedite their getting there. Oh, and you may want to pressure wash the chipper afterward.

Cheers

Well, even though I have not posted what I would do to the people responsible for this don’t mean I have not thought about it.
I have thought about it and I don’t like what I think! I don’t care to post it either.

I was on a man hunt years ago after a trespasser gut shot my best all time dog! He died from it.
I was in a blind rage for days, full of hate for the unknown perpetrator for months, and then depression set in for even longer.

Now? I truly thank God that I didn’t catch them or find out who did it. That is the honest truth.

Deadly Force? I would “not” take another human life to keep my dogs or any other possession from being stolen.

Catching someone in the act of senselessly killing my dogs like this? I am sure that I would live to greatly regret my actions is all I will say.

Does anyone else think that this might have been an animal activist that did this to those dogs??....I mean the way that they were slaughtered has a resemblance to the way we kill pigs. In most cases when someone is going to kill a dog they poison them but this is just horrific and looks more like someone is sending a message.

Either way who ever did this is sick and I cant even imagine that happening to any one of my dogs because Im almost certain I would shoot someone If I found them doing that to any of my dogs. I dont care how much I dont like someone, I could never do that to a dog just out of malice, and anyone who can is not human. Its so nice to see the hunting community coming together to get this boy some new dogs. Just shows how much we like to help each other out.

I am in no way condoning what was done to this guys dogs or fence line, but I imagine he pissed someone off.  It would be interesting to hear the entire story from both sides, just to see what it takes to cause someone to commit such a heinous crime.

That is what I have been thinking all along Circle C. It was personal.

Im with CircleC and Ninja on this one. Not saying what was done is justified but there are always two sides to a story and we have only herd one side.

There are people out there who don't need much of a reason to do something like this. I live in a small country town and I remember about 15 years ago something similar to this happened to a horse. The horse wasn't killed but it was all slashed up while trapped in its stall. The horse belonged to a girl who was in the local rodeo queens contest and they figured that it was a relative of a competitor because it happend the night before the last judging. Nothing was ever proved but sad never the less.

i have kept comments to my self on this one too, boarNinja makes a VERY good point. I know that i have made some pretty bad decisions in the heat of the moment that i had regreted later, and i also think that whoever did this was definitly, "in my opinion" tryin to send a message. I think it would be VERY interesting if they ever do catch whoever did this to find out exactly why they would, but i think that they already know who it was. JMO
I dont think a dogs life is worth a humans life, and i know there very different opinions on this Shocked.  BUT, the BIBLE says that we are not to take anothers life, and that there is pleasure in sin for a season, and EVERY knee shall bow, and EVERY tongue shall confess the LORD JESUS. Everyone will stand in judgement. We are not judges.
what would i do if i caught someone doing this to my dogs, or stealin, I dont know, I hope that i would have the strength to think clearly and make the right choice, but like many times before, that don't always happen.
