Has anyone ever heard of a dog that was allergic to mosquitos? my dog has hundreds of bumps all over him and it only happens this time of year when they get bad. none of the other dogs have it though. any suggetions or comments please feel free.

Not to say it's impossible but I'd be more inclined to say it's allergies or an allergic reaction to something environmental. You can give Benadryl (1mg/lb) to help.

My dogs are the same way and a few others i've talked to are also. It's the worst i've ever seen them out here... right after the hurricane.

I noticed those bumps but didnt think anything of it. It probably is that.

yeah my dog has a bump under his eye (bad luck buddy strikes again) that i was thinking maybe a bug bite. he got one like it about a year and a half ago on his head and after about 3 or 4 weeks it finally went away, this one looks like crap though cause its right under his eye. gave him some benadryl, dunno should i do penicilan or wait it out?

see my dog had literally hundreds all over his body, they did end up going away in about 4-5 days. in your case shawn i would take the dog to the vet because if its something bad and its right next to his eye could turn into a worse problem, a dogs sight is very important, wouldnt chance it. someone might be able to relate to you a little more so i'll let them take a crack at it.
