Thank the Lord we dont have many rattlers around here, but cotton mouths we have plenty!  It was a good year of not having to kill too many.  However, when dove season started there was and still is very little water so the snakes were all hanging out around the water holes and there is nothing like cutin one in half with some 6 shot from a 12 gauge.  I get a smile on my face just thinking about it. Grin

We had goats couldn't even find a snake 1 or 2 years later we have done killed 9
