I had a few people ask how the pups were doing and for me to post some new pics so I tried to get some good pics this past weekend...I really did!  I let the pups out of the pen for the first time and it was like you stirred an ant mound..they were everywhere!!  Shocked

Chickens around the barn weren't safe, they were dragging stuff off.....10 holy terrors on the loose. I never even got pics of all the pups, there are about 3-4 I never got pics of.

Anyway, here are a couple pics I did get once they ran out of steam and crashed. I set a pen over 4 of them so they couldn't run off when they woke up, made it easier to catch them!

Pups are doing good, eating twice a day, been wormed twice and get their first shots next weekend. They are already weaned so won't be long until they are off to new homes. Well, SOME of them anyway....I am still undecided as to which ones or how many I am keeping!!

This is my pick for now, but that may still change. This is a female.

You can tell they are too well fed when they lay down to fight...

The four I put the pen over...luckily they were snoring at the time.

Thanks, but thats one reason I don't raise many litters, its a lot of effort to do it right! Getting up an hour early to soak puppy food, feed pups, clean the pen, etc before you go to work, then do the same when you get home. And do it 7 days a week for 4-6 weeks.......

But I think a good start goes a long ways when you are raising pups.
