There was a topic a while back about hunting horse back and some stuff was mentioned about roping hogs, dragging them out tied to horse tail...yadda yadda and whatever else was said...well there was some folks on here questioning peoples ability to perform these type activites. Well here are some pics of a 13'-9" gator that was roped and tied horse back. This is my first time to post a picture so i hope it works.

Good one, my friends roped one yrs back that chomped one of the dogs going to water.  Kill em all, let God sort 'em out Wink

This one was not killed....we relocated him to the other side of the ranch and he was released in a reservoir.

lol. we got salt water crocs over here. they say their a thousand times more aggressive than gators. they just happen to be in all the best hog hunting spots in australia Sad lots of dogs get taken goin for a drink after a hunt.

are gators protected. crocs are but i personally think they should all be wiped out  Angry

Yep they're protected, limited harvest allowed.   I see no reason to have anything over 6' long.  Just asking for trouble when you let them get that big.

Noah is correct, gators are protected. There is a limited number of tags issued per year. I personally am not a fan of gators nor agreed with releasing this one but there was a guided hunt sold on him so he will be gone soon.
