hey guys, im moving on sunday to kerrville from south texas and am wanting to meet up with some new friends to go out and run dogs with in the hill country. i have plenty of farmland and thousands of acres of cattle country with stock ponds and hog hideouts i hunt around hondo, uvalde, and sabinal that id be willing to share hunting trips to with others so long as i get to run with some locals in the kerrville area who wouldnt mind taking me along to some of their spots as well and allow me to run my dogs closer to my new home so i can expand my hog hunting networking to the hill country. im an easy going guy and would love to meet fellow doggers in the area and hunt together and take turns hunting in different places with different people all over the general area. i also have to down-size my pack due to a way smaller yard and i am also a senior college student at schreiner university and wont have much room or time for my entire pack anymore and have a few dogs up for sale. i have 2 female red lacy-pit cross bay dogs for sale for 150$ each, one is 3yrs old and works very well at the bay and has a decent nose on her but still not quite a strike dog in my opinion unless the hog is within several hundred yards of her. the other is a 1.5 year old daughter of the 3year old and works just as well at baying, they will each easily catch hogs under 100lbs alone yet the 2 together have caught some surprizingly large hogs without the need for my catchdog but both are not overly gritty and know when to back off and bark and just nip a ham once in a while to keep a big boar slowed down instead of getting sliced up. i also have a 10month old BMC-catahoula cross im selling for 50$ mainly because he is just a good help dog, he´ll run thru the woods and sniff a bit but mainly just runs to the bay once the other dogs start barking but aggressively bites to stop hog. with a little more attention focused on him he would no doubt be a way better dog, just still has alot of puppy blood in him and i cant get him to follow my trainer dog out on hunts to learn quite yet cuz he´d rather sit behind and wait for the bay then run in and help.  my fully finished female 3yr old catahoula strike dog is my best dog ever and will consider breeding with another awesome strike dog for some stunning pups but we´d have to be good friends by that point so hit me up on that if interested. sheis also a good dog to use to train other younger dogs with and get them started on the right path. she hunts out to half a mile or so from truck and may wind a hog and go further out but they generally will have most hogs caught or bayed up within a mile or so from the first recent scent trail or sign . ive tried my hardest to have them all stay within a mile or so of the truck no matter what so they dont cross over to other landowners property or get too far out that i cant get there in time to help and wind up with cut up or overheated dogs. issues with my new landlord means i may have to sell her as well as the rest of them but it would have to be for a very right price and i wont take a penny less than 475$ for the finished strike dog. ive just put too much time and money into making her the bada$$ she is today, if theres hogs on a place, she willl find them and is very gritty and will catch 100pounders alone and i always have the rest of the gang right behind her just in case she finds a big daddy! all dogs are trash-broken and are silent on the trail and hunt until the pig is being surrounded then the wailing of the bay lets you know to go in with the catch dogs. id sure hate to sell the strike dog but must get rid of the others mentioned but i wish to continue hunting here in kerrville so please get at me with some responses so i can at least keep my favorite dog to hunt with the people of the hills! thanks! hey bud, thanks for picking me up this evening! sorry we had a rocky trip out but 3 hogs isnt that bad in my book! youve got some really good dogs. as for mine,  id like to ask you to please give her a try soon one morning during the day time when its nice and cool when you can find the time and i guarantee you she will 360, keep me posted on what changes you notice and any recommendations you may have afterwards. i really appreciate you taking care of her for a short bit while i leave for school and am getting settled in and doing what you can to help.  i will hollar at you so i can pick her up at times in the near future so i can take her on demo hunts for a buddy of mine as well as a few other members who have called me asking about her. i was really in a pickle with nowhere to keep her anymore and i owe you big time for what youre doing and i know that shes worth something and couldnt stand to give her away to just anybody in order for me to get to school and just see her be stuck in a yard in town wasting away. i have been talking with people who prefer a shorter ranged dog for smaller properties so it may all work out as planned very soon and she'll be off your hands and back into the field with someone before we know it and ill have gotten a fair price and she can continue doing what shes best suited for. again, thank you for taking care of her for a little while and i will tip you very well for all of your help and supply all food for her and whatnot so be sure to keep me updated on where we stand on that subject. ive got some cool outdoor gear ill swap you for doing me this favor, i owe ya one!  ill be in touch. -lawson
