Me and the crew went on a little evening hunt yesterday. About 5 min. into the woods, my two finished dogs struck near a tank and two of our youngs dogs headed their way. We started to vest up the bulldogs, when we heard the bay dogs catch. We made our way to em, only to find the dogs and small sow in the middle of the tank (tank = stock tank = pond = watering hole = lake )We called and called with no luck and after some joking around, one of my buds started pulling his boots off and sure enough he went in(keep in mind the water isnt that deep). He made his way to the dogs and hogs and preformed a rescue. Sure enough we got the hog to the bank and got her tied, thankfully we didnt have to do mouth-to-mouth. Dedication at its finest...................................... Heres one of the dogs pitching in to help.

tank = stock tank = pond = watering hole = lake around here you will hear all of the above. I think the basic definition is a depression in the ground that holds water

Man I sure dealt with this alot in the marines.....lol The north-eastern guys would say crick instead of creek. Some east texas guys say brush-hoggin instead of shredding.
