dang thats no bueno, them sows are just as ruff as them boar hogs... most of the time you turn a boar or a barr lose they just run off, the sows are the ones that wanna turn around and fight you Angry

That sucks! Them suckers are fast, little boar hog bit me on the leg this morning while we were putting him on the 4-wheeler... luckily he didn't have much teeth.

I hope your finger heals up.

I know first hand about how bad a stinkin' old finger can hurt. It seems so far from important, but geez it hurts when you have one cut badly! If you hold it up instead of letting your hand hang down, the throbbing won't be as bad. Also, Curad has a bandaid that looks like a regular bandaid on one end, but has extra bandage wrap on the other. It wraps like twice around your finger and stays on throughout hog hunting AND bathing horses.

Good Luck!

Paul, how is your finger today? don't forget to soak it in Epsom salt and hot water, helps with soreness and infection.

I called him at dark last night and it had just gotten too dark to rope yearlings anymore.
They were just pulling out of the pasture headed home.
Said it was hurting like heck and he was going home to doctor on it some more.

Main concern was no feeling in the entire finger.
Said he'd be fine, it was his middle finger, so if he lost it, he could do without it.
.....never known him to use that one anyway, if you know what I mean. Grin

Trying to get pictures from phone so he can post them, but has trouble typing.

After hearing the story, I sure wish I was there when it happened. Cheesy

pics of the "sow", i will post a pic of the finger when i get it. i am taking good care of it, color is good, i got the fealing back except in the tip, so i would expect some nerve damage. but it looks like it will "stay on". thanks for cheching on me ya'll.

a few years ago i had the end of my left middle finger sliced off clean my a piece of 20 gauge stainless steel and had no insurance and no money so i glued it together and bandaged it up, kept it clean and now its barley noticable.  it stayed numb for a week or two but eventualy 99% of the feeling came back and that finger works just fine.  trust me I use it alot in Houston traffic Wink

I lost feeling in my finger after getting a nasty cut from an exploding light bulb. That was over a month ago, and although the finger has healed, I still have some pain and up to now had zero feeling beyond the cut. The feeling is coming back some, and the pain is subsiding. It has taken WAY longer than I thought, and I'm sure I'm looking at more time to be back as new. In my case, the nerve is growing back, although I never thought it would.
