  will have to save my pennies to get me one of those ..with my luck i would be running thru the briars and it get drug off .. keep the pics and stories coming  ..good luck on you dog and the jaw ... just a ?? from a dumb redneck hillbilly what is a brumbie  (SP)  Huh?

Sorry mate, not dumb.......we live on opposite sides of the world! Many things are spelt & said differently......
A "Brumby" over here is a Wild Horse! What are they called over there? I'll post a video of a few about 800mtrs from the Jaw Breaker Pig  Wink

Brumbies - being unusually curious! These guys (WIld Horses) are usualy on the bolt way before you could get this close....These guys have obvioulsy had VERY LITTLE human contact/pressure (never been shot at)..

mick  they are called Mustangs over  here  some are captured and adopted out ... do yall have any of those wild bulls that i have heard about from one of the other mates on the forum down under  that kill them to use for hog bait .. thanks for the info ,an old man learnt something tonite

Must be expensive to import dogs from here in florida to there. and you guys don't have rabies right? so the dogs have to be quarintined for a while/?

You got it! There was 150 days waiting in USA, then another 30 days in Oz. Cost me near on $10 000 AUD per dog...I imported 2!
Love the breed & aim to continually improve the lines in Oa & show the Ozzie hunter & cattle farmer how versatile  good catahoula is!
Currently researching a new line to import next year for mainly cattle work(farms)

Will defineately keep posting future hunts  Wink
