this just happened me and my mate went for a hunt with his dogs we left at 6 oclock and started heading were some hige tracks were we got to the spot and waited for ages nothing came so we headed home and about 3 miles away from our houses two huge boars run out one about 80 kg (175lbs) and one that would of easily been 150kg (330lbs) i spotted em and told my mate to let his dog off and he's dog sniffed them out we bolted into the scrub but didnt hear nothing.  after 5 minutes we started callin his dog but nothing. now i started getting worried i knew the pigs would only grunt but we couldnt keep with his dog and we got more worried as the sun went down i started panicking because i had never lost another persons dog before and i told him to let him go so if hes dog was hurt it was all my fault. i started goin along roads everywere looking for him while my mate waited at the spot after a hour my mates dad came and helped out. i knew his dog would of had one of the boars and i was just hoping the boar didnt get him . i went for one last run down this road before i went and got my car and went looking and nuthing i was fearing the worst i went back to my mate then we heard puffing it was hes dog i was glad  my heart started slowing down and i didnt feel like i was gunna have a heart attack we checked his dog and not a scratch on him he was wet and we could tell he had one of the boars i just wished we kept with him to get it but we were more glad hes dog was ok.
