Phillip called and said a couple guys he knows have been seein a bunch of hogs on there cam and they wanted to try and catch a few and run em off their deer feeders. They had never hog hunted with dogs and wanted to see what it was all about. Dogs on the hunt were Daisy, Zig, Bit, Pepper and Red and CD's Bo and Jane.  We dropped the dogs at around 6:15 or so and started walkin. We walked for about 30 minutes then Daisy and Pepper took off to around 1000 yards and showed bayed on the Garmin so we started walkin that way. Once we got in a little closer the rest of the dogs went in too. Once we got there Daisy, Pepper and Red were bayin a big sow in a thicket and Zig and Bit had one bayed in a creek. We cut the CDs loose on the big sow and she broke. So now we have Zig and Bit bayin in the creek but no CD's! We went to them and they had a little sow, maybe 100 lbs, trapped in the creek in some washed timber. Zig ended up catchin her in the creek so Phillip jumped in chest high water and grabbed a leg and brought her back across so I could hold her while he stuck her. We check the Garmin and it showed the rest of the dogs bayed at 800 yards in the opposite direction so we headed that way. Got there and they had the big sow caught in a creek. They must have had her caught for about 30 minutes or so and the bulldogs were worn out. Got her stuck and heard daisy open at about 200 yards away. We sent the CD's in and they got another big sow caught in some really thick stuff. Got to em and finished her off and drug her out for pics. Both of the big sows went maybe 230-250 lbs and one of them bit a good chunk off my pup Reds ear. All in all it was a fun hunt and got to meet a couple nice guys.
