Chris, Mandi, myself and some stranger (Matt Grin), headed out to Ft.Bend County again this morning. Of course, the homeowner was ready to go with us... she's hooked! Grin

We caught this sow about twenty minutes into the hunt. The dogs got on a nice red boar hog that ran them across 2,000 acres 2 1/2 times... I think Chris clocked over 8 miles on the 4-wheeler. They finally started dropping out one by one and we called it a day.

Glad Matt finally got to get back out in the woods and catch a hog!

Good times... It was nice of Matt to come out of retirement for a hunt with us. Grin

Sure would have been nice to get the red boar, I know the dogs worked their butts off trying to get him shut down. Maybe next time.

Landowner called this afternoon and informed me that she is absolutely hooked on hog hunting and is anxiously awaiting our next trip out there. Now the pressure is on to perform, she is gonna be really bummed when we have a dry run.

This is the first hog I have cought since early September  Shocked  Between and work and not feeling worth a crap I have been out of the game for a little while.  Felt good to hear the dogs bark and actually catch a hog again, I was beginning to forget what that felt like.  All the dogs hunted good and I was just happy to see that my two dogs that I brought still new what a hog was  Grin.  Good times, we'll have to do it again, the weather is getting NICE!  The sock hat was prolly a little overkill but my ears always get cold  Grin

Clint,

I called the lady last night to see if she was still game for hunting this morning...She says, well you know I have a pretty bad headache, and sometimes they last a couple days, but can you call me at 6:30am to see how I am feeling.... this morning I called her at 6:30am, and she was ready to roll, said she was not gonna let some headache get in the way of a hog hunt Cheesy
