Thought I would share a couple pics of some deer my friend Bob and his son Rob shot last weekend at their ranch near Brownwood, TX. They high fenced their place about 6 years ago or so, and have been managing the native herd ever since.

Those are nice bucks.  I was in Weakley Watson's it's a local hardware store in Brownwood last year and saw a pic of a deer that scored 212 non high fence deer they claimed.  That was the largest set of horns I've seen in that area.  There are some huge deer in Brown county.

They fenced in about 750-800 acres. Not a big place by most standards. It has some great features though, that have allowed the deer to flourish.
