I have got a jam up gyp bluetick that is one heck of a strike dog and doesnt have a bit of quit in her. These traits i love and are very noticeably coming out from the hound within her. However what i dont like is how rare it is to find a hound that is silent on a track. I know its not impossible to find a hound that is silent on track but i do realize how rare it is. Im wantin to breed her to something that would compliment her breed that will make some jam up pups and hopefully get that openess out of ger. any suggestions? and if someone has a male dog that think will work i would be interested in splitting a litter.

The odds of getting closed mouth hounds by breeding 2 tight mouthed dogs are still very low in getting tight mouthed pups. Id breed to what fits your style, if you like full hounds or crosses its all up to you. There is no right or wrong way to go about it.

I have been foamin at the mouth to find me a bluetick to breed to my male lacy. Have been looking for my own from hunting lines, never thought of just studding him out. But I have been looking for more nose to put into him, that would compliment him and his breeding.
