I just had a lady call me from Hawaii. She was hiking and found a dog wearing one of our cut collars (WBUSA). It did not have a brass name plate. She said the dog is a male, white with brown patches, pink nose and pink around the eyes. If this is your dog or know who it might belong to call her at this number: 808-599-0079. She said it had some cuts on it and looks thin.

Just wanted to let you know Boarmom the lost owners have been put in touch with the lady! Thank you very much for passing on the word! Sad part of the story..... WBUSA collar was not the collar the dog was lost with but put on the dog by itchy fingers that lost the dog after found! A picture of the dog was sent to the lady to confirm ownership from what I was told, Thank you once again Wild Boar USA!

Hey Boarmom! I'm not exactly sure what's happening but I was just told the lady is changing her mind about returning the dog? I gave the owner the information as to how I heard about the dog and so he may be givng you a call tommorow to chat. I was hoping the return would go great but I guess she may be second guessing her feelings or something. Thank you again!

Just spoke to the lady from Hawaii that found this dog. She said the dog had a microchip implant and the humane society along with a vet are handling getting it back to its owner. However the lady regrets calling me because she is getting harrassed and swamped with calls, etc. She said she thought she was doing a good thing that has turned into a nightmare for her.
SO PLEASE DON'T CALL HER ANYMORE. THANKS.

Hey Boarninja! I believe the owner of the microchip is the itchy finger bandit and may have been caught with his peter out on this one. Hopefully! I will take down my post on the Hawaii board right after I post this Boarmom! Like I mentioned in my PM to you Boarmom I believe we did as great a job as we could have. Thank you again! I am still getting PM's claiming it is their dog and a few asked me what their dogs looked like! People are...................................... AMAZING!  |

I was awaiting someone to tell me he had 4 legs, a nose and like to sniff a$$! That would have proven ownership right there! 1 guy even got pushy with me for the ladies number before even giving me a description! My phone accidently cut him off! |

So someone stole a dog or found him, geared him up in an ugly dog collar, micro chipped him, hunted him, didn't feed him, and lost him? Then the lady who found him didn't want to give the original owner the dog back?
I'm confused.
