i was running my cats next to the four wheeler near home for a bit of exercise. i was only probably a mile from home when they took off into the thick stuff and pulled up a good boar. i didnt have a gun or even a holding dog so i rang my mate and he came out withn his holder/finnders. they held him for around 45 min until my mate arrived. he dressed out at 89kg but im not sure what that is in pounds around 200 i think.

There is no better exercise for a hog dog! Nice boar and close to a road!

i was very impressed with the dogs effort as two of them were only pups and it was very hot.

this clip is of one of my gyps and a mates border collie. both are 6 months old.

the catahoula is the same dog as the little pup in my avatar pic

I wish I could get a hog to stand still like that!  I know I know, if I had some good dogs they would shut them down every time. Im the only hog dogger on ETHD that has to bay them 5 times before I catch them.....lol
