Hey Britt,....I stopped by Alan's a little earlier and he said that you had told him about me offering to help you get in touch with him,....I thought that I had heard him speak of you before and I now remember hearing your name as one of the bulldog guys from TX. I apologize for not recognizing your name at first. Good luck in your search. Next time you're out here to Alan's let me know and I'll run up and meet you in person....good luck.

You are right about their temperaments, they will try you if not kept in check.  You must have been competing against "white boy" of Red Rock kennels?Smiley

There are some fellas on here that have nice ABs but I haven't hunted with them and they live in in south Texas. Scott Pugh is one of them

Thanks for the compliment Joey. The one dog I have that may interest Britt, pedigree wise, is the one you liked at that show near Dallas a couple of years ago. But, Cane is not available for public stud. The only other male I have that may, or may not fit his criteria is Blade

Here's the pedigree

IMO, Shiner would be a real nice cross with the blood that Britt has, and Underdog is an honest dogman.

firemedic, no apology needed my friend, just means i had succeeded at keepin a low profile, but so much for that, Alan told me yall have been huntin together a long time, that kind of friendship is a blessing, glad to here it, been tryin to get him on a texas hunt for years, yall need load up and come down this winter and we will do some island huntin on the coast, im one to talk cause i havent made it to AL yet either, Alan has been nice enough to meet me in Jackson MS every time we have got together, its been good talkin to you and i hope to meet you soon,      Hey JHY, that name does ring a bell, guess it is a small world, im assuming youve seen that on video before, didnt mean to throw anyone under the bus, im sure that whole leg thing was a one time deal, seen mine do it but they always let go and hit the ear when the hog stops, where are you located,         Scot, thanks for your post, i have been on your site before and i like your dogs, not familiar with some of the dogs on that pedigree so could you give me any info on them, thanks and i will back you up on the under dog comment, good man

I would enjoy a trip to TX to hunt with y'all Britt....thanks for the invite. Alan and I have been friends since the first grade in school.  We've covered many a mile hunting together over the years. Good luck and come to AL for a visit anytime.

What's the chances of a regular man to get one of these fine dogs. I have used pits but have 2 small children and thinking maybe should go AB way.
