I'm thinking about trying to trade my Marlin Guide Gun 45-70 with a early ported barrell for the right tracking system and a couple collars. Anybody interested?

Thanks Noah. I've shot several with it and every one dropped in their tracks. I really don't wont to get rid of it but guns come and guns go. I just bought a brand spankin new Ruger Black Hawk 50 aniversery 44 mag flat top that I'm gonn start carrying. May not be as acurate but it will lightin up the load and free up my hands walking.

If you have some pictures of that .44 pistol I sure would like to see it.  I am about to buy a .44 pistol to match my .44 Marlin rifle and I would like to see what Ruger looks like.
Thanks,
Matt

Just type in ruger 44 50th anniversery in yahoo or google and theres tons of stuff and pictures on it. Mine has the 6 and half inch barrell with black grips. I think they all have black grips. The grip is a copy of the colt single action and I really like the feel of it. I got mine for $379 which is the cheapest I've seen. If you know some one with a FFL that can order one for you for cost plus 10 percent would probably be the way to go. Gander Mountain has them but it would have run me $75 dollars more. I originally wanted a .41 mag but decided to go 44 cause you can get ammo at walmart if need to.

Yes it is deffinately a good stretch of the legs  Grin.  I will be in Texas on December 5th and staying for a few days with Mr. HG.   I have the Tracker classic with 2 intello collars.  Only used the system about 5 times.  I bought it from Valley Creek Hunting Supplies

What part of Texas will you be in Flatbroke? I'm just about thirty minutes from Valley Creek supply. Did you buy it new and how has it worked for you? The only reason I said I didn't want a Tracker was that from what everybody says it doesn't pick up as well as the Quicktracks and Wildlifes do. But I really don't know anything about them. I like the compact size though. I looked into it and it sells for about the same as my gun new so it would be a fair trade. And (me) beggers can't be choosers. If you're not gonna be to far away I would probably go ahead and trade. I just dont want to drive real far to do it. Thanks, Michael

Looks like a little too far from you, about 300 miles.
