I purchased this saddle last December and have ridden in it enough that it's broken in. 16" seat Wade tree fits my mutton withered gelding. Stirrups have been turned, saddle has approximately $30 in olive oil soaked in it per manufacturer's advice, stored in air conditioned tack room, never been abused (but it could handle abuse if you were so inclined), built hell for stout, hang a cinch on it and go rope a bull. Saddle rides nice, and you will not come out come hell or high water unless you want to. On top of that, it is a good looking saddle with oak leaf tooling, rough out fenders and hard rough out seat. 5" cantle, long saddle strings for tying on all your gear, and it comes rigged with a flank girth. Near and off side billets are included but I did rob the girth and the shoo fly.

The ONLY reason I am selling is that I got a once in a lifetime opportunity at a saddle I have wanted for a long time and it is hard to ride two saddles with only one butt.

$700 OBO includes saddle, near and off billets, rear flank cinch. I will even throw in a spare pulling collar in case you need it. It does not include the saddle bags in the second photo. I can get better photos if needed. 713-550-2625

This photo was taken before the saddle was oiled and before it was broken in. I never did shear off those stirrup leathers, so the stirrups are adjustable for even a very tall man.
Cheers

Youv'e had it way too long to be playing my game haha.  I like my saddle though and one that fits well and is a joy to ride is something I try to hang on to, it does everything I need one to do.  Good luck on the sale, it is a real nice saddle.

Matt,

I think I might be getting the raw end on this deal.  It's kinda like this...  Mandi gets my custom Slade cutting saddle, as well as the Piland ranch cutter that she got two weeks ago.  She is going to sell this wade saddle, and I will take the funds and apply it to another fat boy ranch saddle just like the one I already ride. I rode my Slade the other night, and decided that I liked my ranch saddle better. The only thing better than having a saddle that you really like, is having two saddles that you really like Grin

You are making me out to be a saddlewhore. Chris, my tail has logged more hours in that Slade than anyone else in it's life. Matt, don't listen to Chris about getting shafted. He can get whatever saddle he wants, he just prefers that old ranch saddle.

Cheers

I just spoke to Mandi over the phone about this saddle and she guaranteed it would make a 5 foot nothing, short, fat, baldheaded guy look gallant on a mule.  Cheesy

I make an offer of $650 as long as you dont swipe those bucking rolls off it Mandi.  Grin

Gallant on a Mule?

  Boarninja,
Can I interest you in some ocean front property in Arizona while you are in the spending mood?  Shocked

I admire any man confident enough to ride a mule. He will look gallant.

LOL. Chris I ride a mule as an excuse for my riding ability! Gives the real horseman something to make fun of other than my riding skills. Cheesy

Im sure I will Matt. Its a looker too! When Mandi told me she used Extra Virgin Olive oil instead of the regular kind I knew I had to have it!  Grin
